Community Emergency Response Team

(CERT)

We need residents to take the CERT classes. 

This is to help residents of the HOP community in case of a disaster. 

The class will be held at our lodge sometime after December. 

If interested please sign up in the Green Book at the lodge and call 833-4000. 

When we have 20 people we can start a class.

· If you are a CERT member, please wear your vest to Monday coffee when we meet with Wayne Salidae, April 28

· May is generator month, please check your generators to make sure that they are in working order before hurricane season begins. 

If you know of anyone that needs a Special Needs shelter, they need to register with the county before they will be admitted.  This is true for pets also.
